1940 nm vs. 1470 nm EVLA: 3-Year Results with Radial Fiber

This prospective study evaluated 1940 nm EVLA with a radial fiber in 177 cases over 3 years. Results showed effective vein closure, significant diameter reduction, and fewer complications compared to 1470 nm EVLA. Patients experienced lower pain and less ecchymosis, with efficient outcomes using lower energy (40–60 J/cm). Manual pullback and intraoperative ultrasound supported treatment safety and efficacy. Despite being non-randomized, the study confirms 1940 nm EVLA as a safe, effective option
